The world has responded to threats of nuclear war from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Putin addressed his nation on television for the first time since the invasion of Ukraine, where he escalated war efforts.
There have been calls following his address for people to take to the streets over an announcement to enact a partial mobilisation of troops. A partial mobilisation of troops of as many as 300,000 military reservists means anyone with any kind of military training or affiliation would be able to be asked to participate in the war in Ukraine.
Since the Russian President’s address, many have rushed to flee the country as a flight radar tracks the rapid increase in flights leaving Russia.
