The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic , Owo, in Ondo State, has appealed to members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic to call off their strike in the institution. and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics on the subject.
“So, I am appealing to the unions to consider the future of the students and allow them to return to class for their examinations,“ he said. The communiqué read: “After much emphasis and extensive deliberation, the Congress unanimously agreed to withdraw services of the members from participating in the scheduled first-semester examination exercise, which is proposed to commence on June 13, 2023, until the condition below is met.
