It was a cheering experience for Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State on arrival in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of the state, which is
the country home of the former Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Prof. Hilary Odo Edeoga, as the people of the area, women, youths and stakeholders of the council area trooped out in their numbers to welcome the governor amid cheers and excitement.
Welcoming Gov. Ugwuanyi, youths of Isi-Uzo LGA reassured the governor that they are solidly behind him. They also reassured the governor that Isi-Uzo LGA is PDP, stressing that the council area will deliver PDP 100 percent in the 2023 general election. Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders and people of Isi-Uzo LGA, former Commissioner for Human Capital Development and Poverty Reduction, Hon. Godwin Ogenyi, thanked Gov. Ugwuanyi for honouring them with the visit stating that it was a mark of respect for their people.
