The Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic has said it will upgrade Tinubu Methodist Primary School, Lagos Island and Ogba Primary Health Centre, and administer the Human Papilloma Virus vaccine to about 115 junior schoolgirls.

The President, Mamta Deb Roy, said the club has adopted school and will provide clean drinking water for the students, as well as donate school bags, books and stationaries among others.

Dey Roy said other projects lined up for the year include, plastic segregation, with the focus of recycling plastics and making Lagos plastic free in collaboration with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority . MEANWHILE, 20 people, who distinguished themselves in the 2020-2021 Rotary Youth Leadership Award programme, held at NYSC Camp, Iyana Ipaja, were selected for RYLA award, which took place at Rotary Centre, GRA, Ikeja.Speaking on the award, the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9110, comprising Lagos and Ogun states, Bola Oyebade, said the beneficiaries, who were outstanding during the training, were awarded scholarship on Web Design and Development.
