Rotary District 9110 medical missions have completed over 3,000 cataract and 45 fibroid surgeries in Lagos and Ogun States.

“This year, most people have had cause to be depressed due to economic circumstances and situations we found ourselves in. Many people have jumped over bridges to take their lives, so we have carried out this campaign all through the year, educating people on why they shouldn’t take their lives and telling them what needs to be done, especially speaking out.
“We have partnered with the World Health Organisation , and the United Nations Children’s Fund to fight polio, two months ago, we were all in Abuja with the Chairman of the Polio Plus committee to present a cheque of $14million to the Minister of Health in conjunction with WHO and UNICEF, that is our contribution for Rotary International to assist in the continuous fight of Polio.
