British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has once again defended Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, claiming the Portugal captain is not ‘finished’.
Morgan was replying to a Twitter user on Monday evening when he said there was nothing wrong with Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia.Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer a few days ago after his contract with Man United was terminated last November. And Morgan believes that it’s an incredible feat at the age of 38, describing Ronaldo’s move to the Saudi Arabia side as the biggest transfer deal in football history.
Morgan tweeted: “Last time I checked, @Cristiano had just signed the biggest transfer deal in football history to become the world’s highest-paid athlete at the age of 38, playing in the only country to beat World Champions Argentina in the World Cup.
