According to him, those who died had been moved to St Gerard's Hospital, while three who survived were immediately conveyed to AP Smart Hospital, Kakuri, for further treatment. He said it was imperative to also remind motorists that excessive speeding was dangerous.
The Sector Commander urged drivers to always maintain the requisite speed limits while on transit. “The road traffic crash occurred near Olam Farm on Kaduna-Abuja Highway about 3 p.m. when a Toyota Hiace marked GTG 96YA carrying 11 persons collided with a Golf Salon marked RBC 369XE with five passengers.' “As we enter the ‘ember season fully, motorists are reminded of the need to adhere to basic safety ethics while traveling,” he said.
