The governor made this declaration at the presentation of the report by its chairman, Justice Ibiwengi Minakiri, at the Government House in Port Harcourt. Fubara emphasized the need to end the violence prevalent in Rivers politics, asserting that violence should not be a feature of politics.
He praised the Commission's resilience in completing the task despite several challenges and legal obstacles. The chairman of the Commission detailed the investigation process and the findings, which were compiled across four volumes and completed within the stipulated timeframe of 30 days
