The Rivers State Police Command has said its operatives bust a criminal hideout and arrested three suspected kidnappers in Obelle community, Emuoha Local Government Area of the state.
“The Rmumji Police Division mobilized Patrol Teams and raided the uncompleted building that was being used as a criminal hideout.
“Martin Nze , 37 of Awka, Anambra State, was rescued, and his car, a Toyota Corolla with the registration number GG 138 FY, was recovered and taken to the station. “Three of the abductors; Vincent Sunday , 25 from Rumuji, Ekene Micheal , 29 from Eliozu, and Mohammed Oluwasegun , 20 from Ondo State were arrested.
“One Single Barrel Dane Gun was recovered from them. They will be charged in court once ongoing investigations are completed.” The police spokesperson, however, reaffirmed the commitment of the command to reducing crime and criminality in all its forms to the barest minimum.All rights reserved.
