Nwauju was reacting to the solidarity protest led by Okocha in support of President Bola Tinubu and Federal Capital Terrritory minister Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt.

Referring to the judgment that led to Okocha’s removal, Nwauju emphasized his belief in the benevolence of God, asserting that no amount of struggle or conflict can alter what is predestined for anyone. Nwauju accused Okocha of exploiting his narrative of supporting President Bola Tinubu to “manipulate the position of Commander-in-Chief for personal political gain and to garner sympathy'.
