The court ordered that those that emerged from the primaries of the party should not be recognised as candidates for next year’s general elections. Mr Cole said the party has filed an appeal and stay of execution of the order of the High Court. He stated that the party will proceed with its campaign activities while the other processes are ongoing at the higher courts.“We continued with our program, we continued to do what we have set out to do because we know that this verdict is going to be overturned. We know it is going to go to the Appeal Court and the Supreme Court. We trust the judgement of both the Appeal and Supreme courts.
