Footwear retailer, Foot Locker, has joined the list of brands cutting ties with rapper and music producer, Kanye West, after his antisemitic rants on social media.
The company said it would “not be supporting any future Yeezy product drops, and we have instructed our retail operators to pull any existing product from our shelves and digital sites.”
The rapper, whose deal with Adidas provided $1.5bn of his net worth, had earlier boasted during a Drink Champs podcast that “I can say antisemitic… and Adidas cannot drop me.” West has also lost business relationships with Gap and Balenciaga after he was seen wearing a shirt with a slogan associated with the Ku Klux Klan.
