Some Lagos residents on Sunday apprehended one Adewole Adesemilore at the First Bank Plc, Ikotun 2 branch located at Toluwani bus stop in the Ikotun area of the state. He was apprehended for his alleged involvement in Automated Teller Machine card stealing, SaharaReporters gathered. The suspect, who has been handed over to the police at Ikotun Police Station, was apprehended while trying to swap the ATM card of a teenage boy who was making a withdrawal at the bank’s ATM branch.According to a video an eyewitness shared with SaharaReporters, a bunch of ATM cards were recovered from the suspect including a card belonging to one Ogunlaja Adenike, one Folorunsho and many others.“He was caught using fake ATM cards.
Adewole confessed to the crime in the video and was almost lynched by an angry mob before he was later handed over to the police.
