The Nation Newspaper Reps to IGP, NSA: caution political parties against violent utterances
The House of Representatives on Thursday, November 2, asked the Inspector General of Police and the National Security Adviser to caution all political parties and their candidates participating in the November 11 governorship elections in Bayelsa state against any act of violence during the elections.
According to her, the utterances were not mere political campaign statements, but a call to violence and disorderly conduct capable of disrupting law and order in Twon Brass and in Bayelsa State as a whole.
