The House of Representatives has expressed commitment towards ensuring the timely release of the abducted Akwa Ibom Corps members.
The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Youth Development, Martins Esin in a chat with journalists in Uyo on Tuesday, decried the kidnap and assured of government’s efforts towards their release. According to him, “It is a very traumatising experience for both the youngsters and their families. Government is not also relenting in its efforts at ensuring their timely release. It’s a disturbing development indeed.
