The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in Niger state has set up a task force to inspect the level of compliance of members towards meeting the requirements for the re-opening of schools.

He noted that almost all the private schools across the state have carried out fumigation of its surroundings and classes and majority have certificates regarding this. “All schools have been directed to provide infrared thermometer, water and soap for washing, alcohol-based sanitizer clearing of the school compounds. The need for social distancing has been emphasized upon. Members have also been told to suspend assemblies for now.”The NAPPS Chairman said that the private schools are set and will resume on Tuesday despite the insistence of the state government that schools will resume next week.
