A group, Global Amnesty Watch, has praised President Bola Tinubu for taking the bold step of eliminating fuel subsidy.
According to Ikpa, the decisions made thus far show a readiness to address Nigeria’s socioeconomic challenges and have restored hope in the country’s pursuit of long-term growth and development.
On the economy, the report added: “The steps taken so far with the suspension of the governor of the Central Bank and the reversal of some monetary policies boosted investors’ confidence and the consequent improvements in the economic rating of the country. The report further hailed President Bola Tinubu for rejigging the security architecture by appointing new service chiefs and the National Security Adviser.
