Traders and business owners in Anambra State have been advised to reciprocate the government fight against insecurity in the state by paying their taxes as at when due.
He said it would amount to injustice refusal to pay taxes to a government that had provided the enabling environment for business activities, including security of lives and property. He said, “For us at the market Departments, we’ve been working. We just flagged off our debt recovery team to man the three senatorial zones to enforce total compliance on Internal Revenue Generation .
While commending the management of the Internal Revenue Service for its commitment towards ensuring increase in tax payment, the Commissioner pledged the Ministry’s continued support.He said, “It’s the level of dedication you’ve put in the work that made people wonder the secret to the magic. We’ll give you all the support to ensure you do more to move the state forward.
