The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Faruk Yahaya, has told Nigerians not to see recruitment into the Nigerian Army as an opportunity to get employment.
The statement read in part, “The COAS observed that recruitment into the Nigerian Army should not be perceived as employment opportunity, as is the case in other conventional endeavours of life.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff has approved the redeployment of major generals and brigadier generals, among other senior officers, across the Nigerian Army formations and units in the country.
