The Coalition of United Political Parties has condemned President Bola Tinubu's recent suggestion for Nigerians to buy petrol at N1,000 per litre or opt for Compressed Natural Gas at N200.

Chief Peter Ameh, General Secretary of CUPP, criticized the government for failing to implement a proper policy framework before removing the fuel subsidy, leading to inflation, increased poverty, and a surge in transportation costs.
