West Shore RCMP believe at least four of these yellow containers containing a medication used to treat Parkinson’s Disease, may have been handed out to children trick-or-treaters, from a home in Colwood.
West Shore RCMP say they were called by an elderly citizen in Colwood, who believed they inadvertently handed out medication to Halloween trick-or-treaters Tuesday night. RCMP say they received a call around 7:45 p.m. from an person in their late 80’s, who realized they were missing several packs of medication that had been sitting near their candy bowl.
The senior was handing out candy from a single-family home near the intersection of Bette Drive and Charlotte Drive in Colwood.Police believe at least four yellow containers containing Apo-levocarb, a medication used to treat Parkinson’s Disease, have been handed out to children who were trick-or-treating in the area.Sign up for the CHEK Now daily email newsletter to get breaking news and the day's top stories sent to your email.
