Coronavirus restrictions will ease across Queensland after the state recorded zero new local COVID-19 cases overnight.
"I can advise that on the advice of Dr Young, we can ease our restrictions from 6am, Friday 16 July," she said. "At this stage, Queensland is monitoring the situation in Greater Sydney and NSW very closely," Ms Palaszczuk said."We have had extensive discussions this morning and we will be having those extensive discussions each and every day.
"My message to Queenslanders is to think seriously, long and hard, about what you are doing and if you can, come home."Ms Palaszczuk said she was pleased to accommodate the NRL for the next two weeks, but this could be subject to change.
