Python, crocodile and a cub have been evacuated from the residence of Ahmed Idris, former Accountant General of the Federation, to Kano Zoo. DAILY POST learnt that the python had escaped from the ex-AGF's residence, causing panic in Daneji, Mandawari, Kabara and other nearby communities.

The Managing Director of Kano Zoo, Sadik Kura Muhammad, who spoke in an interview with a local radio station in Kano on Sunday, confirmed that the wild animals have been evacuated.
