Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved today, January 25, as work-free day for civil servants in the state. Head of Service , Mrs. Suzan Oluwole, in a statement issued in Ilorin, yesterday, noted that the development was to give ample time to the workers to get their Permanent Voter Cards from the Independent National Electoral Commission , to enable them participate actively in the coming general election.
The statement added: “All those that are yet to get their voters card are admonished to immediately do so before the expiration of the collection date.”
