Members of the Niger State House of Assembly have called on the State Government to as a matter of urgency relocate and provide office equipment destroyed by miscreants during the #EndBadGovernance protest in Tafa LGA of the state.
The decision was reached following a Motion of Matter of Urgent Public Importance brought by Muhammad Sanu Idris, the member representing Tafa Constituency. Idris explained that Tafa LG secretariat was built during the administration of the late Simeon Olasukanmi Oduaye between 1997 and 1998, but was completely destroyed by hoodlums .
'All the efforts, time and resources expended on the construction and provision of the office equipments for the secretariat went down the drain within an hour due to the despicable acts of these miscreants. The location of the Secretariat on the Abuja - Kaduna Expressway made it easily accessible by hoodlums who came in from neighboring communities' .
