Properties worth millions of naira were burnt to ashes following a fire, which gutted a Magistrate’s court building in Ebonyi State.
The Guardian gathered that the fire started from the building attached to Magistrate Court Registrar’s office, which affected seized properties parked inside the court premises.
She said: “In the early hours of June 3, we got calls from people living at the Magistrate’s quarters that our court has been gutted by fire. “The fire was eventually put out by rescuers from Ebonyi State Fire Service. As you can see, the building was completely razed down.”
