Umat St Dominic,Lahad Datu aktif mengambil bahagian dalam program turun padang untuk memperkenalkan Perhimpunan Pastoral Malaysia 2026.Gereja St Dominic telah menjadi destinasi pertama bagi program ‘turun padang’ menuju Konvensyen Pastoral Malaysia 2023 pada Mac 17-18 lalu.

Program ini melibatkan pemimpin-pemimpin gereja yang terdiri daripada ahli-ahli Majlis Pastoral Paroki, ketua-ketua KKD, Komiti Pelayanan serta umat setempat. Program hari kedua dimulakan dengan aktiviti “reality check”. Aktiviti ini bertujuan agar pengetahuan dan panggilan sebagai gereja dapat disegarkan kembali.
