I thank you for coming to our offices this afternoon for the purpose of this press briefing on behalf of our client, Muhammadu Sanusi II, who was yesterday morning, the 9th day of March 2020 deposed as Emir of Kano by the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who claimed to have acted on a resolution of the Kano State Executive Council.
