The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Benue State, North Central Nigeria. Tinubu polled 310,468 votes to defeat Peter Obi of the Labour Party with 2,096 votes. Obi polled 308,372 votes from 14 local government areas of the state, with Tinubu winning in nine local government areas. The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, came third with 130,081 votes.
