CRPP in Edo, yesterday through its Chairman, Dr. Samson Isibor, after its quarterly meeting in Benin, where the group’s members deliberated on political developments in the state, while moving closer to the governorship election, urged politicians to always be truthful.It said: “In our deliberations, we resolved to set the records straight, thereby supporting Senator Monday Okpebholo that initiated and influenced the ongoing rehabilitation of the Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi Road.
“God heard our prayers and sent a compassionate, philanthropic and empathic Senator Okpebholo to us, as he took the bull by the horns, cried to President Tinubu, a great listener, who instructed the Minister of Works and Housing, Engr. Dave Umahi, to come to the aid of the agonising motorists, and Bua Cement Company in the area also supported the initiative, but the Edo government is attempting to take credit for rehabilitating the road.
