President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the government and people of Ogun State, as well as the family of Alhaji Liadi Orunsolu, the Chief Imam of Egbaland, who passed away Tuesday at the age of 98.
This was contained in a statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina. DAILY POST reported that Orunsolu died on Tuesday at his Isale Igbein residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. According to Adesina, “the President salutes the life of piety and utmost submission to the will of Almighty Allah as lived by the departed, who was also the President-General of the League of Imams and Alfas in Ogun State.”President Buhari prayed for ”Orunsolu to be bountifully rewarded, having completed his course.”
