President Buhari reacts as former federal lawmaker dies
President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the death of former lawmaker, from Hong/Gombi constituency in Adamawa State, Haske Francis Hananiya.This was contained in a statement to DAILY POST on Wednesday by his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
The deceased is the younger brother of Major-General Haladu Hananiya , the former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC and President Buhari’s friend and companion in the Nigerian Army. In a condolence message on Wednesday, President Buhari said he was “deeply touched by the demise of the budding politician.”
While extending his condolences to General Hananiya and his entire family over the tragic loss, Buhari “prayed to God to bless the soul of deceased and grant those he left behind the fortitude to overcome this irreparable loss.”
