In its statement made available to DAILY POST on Wednesday, the President’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu said Mansur Ahmed would be representing organised labour on the board. In another statement today, the presidential spokesman said it was an error, explaining that Ahmed will instead represent Organised Private Sector.
The terse statement said, “In our statement yesterday on the above subject, we inadvertently stated that Engr. Mansur Ahmed is to represent the Organised Labour on the Board. “He is actually to represent Organised Private Sector and not Labour being Executive Director, Dangote Group and President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria .as Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund.
