Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has called on the Muslim Ummah to continue in their prayers for Cross River State and Nigeria to be a society
This was contained in his message signed by his Chief press secretary, Emmanuel Ogbeche, to the Muslim faithful as they celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
He said his government is gradually settling down and working towards a better state for all citizens irrespective of tribe, religion and ethnic differences. “I call on all Muslim faithful to be tolerant, obedient, and show acts of sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim who was ready to sacrifice his only son in obedience and submission to the will of Allah.
