He explained that contrary to the erroneous information and misleading speculations ascribing the situation to political or subterranean causes, the current intermittent service interruptions being experienced in areas such as Rigasa, Mando, Tudun Wada, Unguwan Mu’azu, Nariya, and a cross-section of the southern parts of the metropolis is due to generation shortfall.
He made this clarification when he led a delegation to the secretariat of the Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN. The Chairman of CAN, Kaduna State chapter, Rev. John Joseph Hayab, who received the Kaduna Electric delegations enjoined community leaders and stakeholders to always endeavour to verify the authenticity of stories and information that come to their attention before making pronouncements on them to avoid misleading or misinforming their subjects.
Thanking the delegation from Kaduna Electric, Rev Hayab assured them of using platforms at CAN’s disposal to enlighten and educate their congregation on the power supply challenges in the country.
