In continuation of its long-term drive to promote fitness and healthy living among Nigerians, Power Oil the preferred healthy vegetable cooking Oil in
Nigeria recently extended its campaign tagged “Healthy Nation” to the Lagos State National Youth Service Corp orientation camp, Ipaja where various fun activities were organized to engage Corp members and officials.
Part of the activities were obstacle course games, brand knowledge and most importantly cooking contest among all platoons. All these are in line with the promotion of fitness and healthy choice of diet which the brand outwardly stands for. Power oil also seized the opportunity to sensitize corp members about the menace associated to indiscriminate purchase/consumption of unbranded oil and its possible long-term effect on human health.
Platoon 5 came out tops, platoon 9 was the 1st runner up and platoon 2, 2nd runner up. They were rewarded with cash prizes. “We are delighted to be here again sharing the gospel of a Healthy Nation campaign to the Nigerian youth, as we reckon it’s important for them to note that the most important behavioral risk factors of heart disease, stroke are unhealthy diet and physical inactivity”.
