dorsement rally held at the Cenotaph in Asaba, chairman of the Non Indegenes, Chief Joseph Ikena said they would deliver over 500,000 votes to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Saturday.Noting that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was doing well in the State, he said the only way we could reward him was to vote massively for his re-election. He said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had at different occasions come to their aids, adding that the Governor assisted them when their shops got burnt in 2015.

In another development, a group, Tubegbe Political Forum, yesterday, cautioned against the disenfranchisement of indigenes of Tubegbe Federated Communities, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State through the disruption of movement of electoral materials by soldiers in the March 9, governorship and House of Assembly elections.

Leader of the group, Prince Eyeasuoemi Ataukudo, while speaking with newsmen, said: “Superior INEC officials came and appealed to the soldiers to no avail until after about eight hours when some high ranking army officers came and ordered the release of the INEC officials and their electoral materials.
