The Nigerian Army on Friday said a Committee has been inaugurated by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai to investigate allegations of misconduct against its personnel during the general elections.

Colonel Musa said in a statement that the probe is expected to examine the circumstances surrounding the shooting to death of Lt Kurmi and other soldiers during the elections. “The committee’s Terms of Reference centered on thoroughly investigating the activities, actions and/or inactions of NA Personnel in all the States that alleged one infraction/wrong doing or the other.
