Nasarawa Police Command has vowed to fish out killers of district head of Odu village of Udege in Nasarawa Local Government Area, Amos Ewa Obere.
Police Public Relations Officer , Nansel Ramhan, gave the assurance in a chat with reporters in Lafia on Sunday.
According to him, the command would not rest until the killers are identified, arrested and prosecuted.READ ALSO: The PPRO also urged members of the public to supply the Police with useful information that will aid the arrest of the perpetrators of the crime.The police spokesperson said that they received information about the attack on July 31, at about 2200hrs.
“Upon the receipt of the information, a detachment of Police personnel comprising Special Anti- Robbery Squad, Police Mobile Force, personnel of Operation Puff Adder and vigilante led by the Divisional Police officer raced to the scene and discovered that the victim has been shot. “He was rushed to the hospital but died while receiving treatment at General Hospital, Mararaba Udege,” he said.
