Police, traditional rulers tackle cultism in Enugu vanguardngr.com vanguardnews
During the sensitisation programme/workshop for Enugu North Senatorial District, the police, the traditional rulers and the stakeholders tutored the youths in the district on the dangers of cultism, urging them to stay away from any activities pertaining to such group as it can only lead to destruction of one’s life.
He said “ we are here to create awareness among key stakeholders on the dangers of cultism and by this, we have the students because the state’s commissioner for education approved that we should sensitize the students. We also have neighborhood watch members, we have traditional rulers, parents and teachers and those who can help to take the message back to our schools and homes to help tell the youths, artisans and everyone about the dangers of cultism,” he said.
