Police release details of arrested fake ‘Army Major’ in Delta
The Command released the photograph in a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations, ASP Orisewejie Chuks.
ASP Chuks gave the name of the fake Army major as Blessing Emelor, a native of Isoko ethnic nationality.ASP Chuks, who confirmed the report to our Correspondent yesterday, said “the suspect has been making the overture for the past three years to endear him to unsuspecting members of the public and enjoy ‘Esprit-de-corps’ from members of the Armed Forces and the Police.
According to ASP Chuks, “the suspect, who had confessed to the crime has been handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba and would be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.” ASP Chuks advised members of the public not to go into official transaction with the suspect whose photograph is attached to this publication and to report any person they found impersonating either the Military or the Nigeria Police.
