The workers union of Police Service Commission, PSC, has called on President Bola Tinubu to immediately sack the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun amid what they referred to as deliberate misrepresentation and falsehood about the recently concluded recruitment.

The chairman, Joint Union Congress, JUC, of the Police Service Commission, Adoyi Augustine Adoyi, while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday, said that the action of the IGP was against the ethics of his profession. “We begin this press conference with a clarion call on the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, to immediately relieve the IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, of his appointment as IGP.
