The Kano State Police Command, on Monday, said it had begun investigation into alleged forgery by the suspended Chairman of the State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission, Muhuyi Rimin-Gado.He said the police had received a petition from the state House of Assembly and the Office of the Accountant-General of the state accusing Rimin-Gado of presenting a fake medical report to the ad hoc committee investigating him.

The letter, which was signed by the Director, Clinical Services, Aisha Umar, said the name and signature of one Dr Bayo on the medical report did not belong to any staff member of the National Hospital, Abuja.The state House of Assembly, on Monday, asked Governor Abdullahi Ganduje to sack Rimin-Gado.

A Kano State High Court had on Friday restrained the Assembly from taking any further action in the ongoing investigation into the complaints against Rimin-Gado.
