Police parades over 30 suspected criminals in Yobe

Among the paraded suspects was one Tasiu Abdulkareem who was arrested in connection with the murder of a four-year-old Al-Amin Ibrahim Baba whose body was found in a soakaway in Potiskum town recently.

While giving the breakdown of the offences, ASP Abdulhafeez noted that, 1 suspect was arrested in connection with kidnapping, 7 for fake recruitment, 2 armed robberies, 2 fraud, and 17 were arrested for rape, sodomy and other unnatural activities, among others. “Thus, the Yobe State Police Command is calling on all relevant stakeholders not to relent in helping the police in order to bring the perpetrators of this act to justice which will serve as deterrent to others”, the PPRO appealed.
