Lagos State Police Command, paraded five suspects for vandalising Lagos State Electricity Board (LSEB) cables mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company, Alausa area of the state.
The suspects were arrested on Monday, April 24, 2023, by operatives of Alausa Division of the Lagos State Police Command. The suspects are: 29-year-old Ukah Gabriel; 27-year-old Felix Lornumbe; 28-year-old Athanisus Lornumbe; 18-year-old Titus Akuha and 29-year-old Emmanuella Ajikula.
Spokesperson for the Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, said tools and vandalised cables were recovered from the suspects. According to him, the suspects were caught in the act following credible intelligence on their suspicious movement in the area. “The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution,” he added.
