The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday in Warri, said the police also arrested a dealer of stolen vehicles.According to the police spokesman, the suspected robber snatched a Toyota Camry car from his victim at gun point on Aug. 9, 2018 at Ozoro junction in Delta.
“Following the tip-off, a team of detectives led by Sgt. Ikechukwu Obuseh, under the Command of the Divisional Police Officer Oleh, CSP. Na’illah Mo’d swung into action, apprehended the buyer, Abraham Dafe. According to Onovwakpoyeya, the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.Meanwhile, the Police Commissioner in the state, Adeyinka Adeleke, has warned criminals to steer clear of the state, noting that there would be no hiding place for them to perpetrate their evil acts.
