Two suspected arms suppliers have been killed by the police along Gummi- Anka Road in Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria. The suspects were reportedly killed in an extensive gun battle while they were conveying arms to a terrorist camp in the state from Taraba State, Northeast Nigeria. Two of the suspects were killed while others escaped to the bush with possible gunshot wounds. This is contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson for the Zamfara State Police Command, SP Mohammed Shehu on Sunday.
