He was said to have been killed ten days after he was kidnapped and buried in a shallow grave in Lourre community in Khana local government area of the state.
Speaking to journalists, the spokesman of the state police command, Nnamdi Omoni said the “suspect also collected the sum of N5000,000″ from the family of the victim.” Omoni also said the suspects who have confessed to the crime were arrested through intelligence gathering. According to one of the suspects, the pastor who they had hired after pretending to be a passenger was killed after he recognized one of them.
