Police arrests man for alleged child theft in Ekiti
The Ekiti State Police Command says it has arrested a 25-year-old man, Solomon Omole, for allegedly stealing a baby.
Olasunkanmi told the court that the defendant and others still at large committed the offence on Jan. 22 at about 2:00 p.m in Itaji-Ekiti. According to him, the offence contravened Section 371 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.He also appealed to the court to adjourn the case to enable him to study the case file and assemble his witnesses.
