The Kaduna State Police Command said it has arrested two suspects in connection with ATM card snatching/swap.
According to the statement, on the 12th June 2023, at about 1340hrs, a woman reported that on the 10th June 2023 at about 0715hrs, she went to Jaiz Bank located at Ali Akilu Road Kaduna to make a financial transaction using her Automated Teller Machine card. “Few minutes later, she received two debit alerts with a total sum of four hundred and four thousand Naira from her bank,” the statement said.
It said the suspects have voluntarily confessed to the alleged crime, adding that findings revealed that the two suspects had defrauded one of their victims of the sum of N940,000 using his ATM card in another bank.
